Header and menu#

How do I make a mega menu? Add links under a top-level menu item in Content > Menus; it opens a full-width panel. To fill the panel with products, collections or image banners, add a Menu panel block to the Header. See Header and navigation.

The header isn't transparent over my banner. The banner must be the first section on the page and run edge to edge. See Transparent header for the settings each banner needs.

How do I change the cart icon? Header > Cart block > Icon: helmet, kit bag, top case, box, shopping bag or cart, or upload your own.

Products#

How do I add a size chart? Create a page with the chart, then pick it in the Variant picker block under Size guide. For one chart per collection or per product, see Size guide.

When a shopper picks a color, all photos still show. Give each color variant a variant image, order the photos by color, and set Product information > Variant images to Only the selected color. See Product page.

Why do some product cards have a different background color? With Theme settings > Product cards > Image background set to From the photos, each card takes its photo's plain background color. Photos with a transparent or busy background keep the color scheme. Set it to Color scheme for the same background on every card.

How do I add a "Track day" or "New" label to products? Tag the product label:Track day. Labels from tags are turned on in Theme settings > Product labels. New labels show automatically for the number of days you set there.

How do I put the gallery on the right for some products? In the theme editor, open the product page, then choose Products > Create template in the page menu at the top. In the new template, set Product information > Media > Position to End. Then open each of those products in the admin and choose the new template under Theme template.

How do I offer a PDF manual on the product page? Add a Download block. See Download block.

Cart and checkout#

How do I show a free shipping bar? Enter the amount in Theme settings > Cart > Free shipping threshold. For several currencies: 400, EUR:380, GBP:340.

How do I use a cart page instead of the drawer? Theme settings > Cart > Cart type > Page.

Where is the quick shop window in the editor? In the Overlays group at the bottom of the left sidebar. It opens when a shopper clicks a product card's Add button.

Look and motion#

How do I turn the animations off? Theme settings > Animations > Enable animations. To respect shoppers who ask their device for less motion, turn on Follow the device's reduced motion setting.

Does Chassis support right-to-left languages? Yes. Layouts, drawers and arrows mirror for Arabic, Hebrew and other right-to-left languages.

How do I translate the theme's text? Go to Online Store > Themes > … > Edit default theme content to change any text in the theme. To add languages, use Settings > Languages and the free Translate & Adapt app.

Other pages#

How do I edit the password page? In the theme editor, open the page menu at the top and choose Others > Password. Its message is set in Online Store > Preferences > Password protection.

Where do newsletter signups go? To Customers, with email marketing accepted. Send campaigns with Shopify Email or any email app.
