Countdown#

Count down to a launch, promotion, or event with rolling numbers.

Add this section#

Select Add section > Countdown on the template you want to edit.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

• End date: Enter the text to show. Written as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM, such as 2026-12-01 09:00 (store time zone). Until a date is set, the theme editor shows a sample.

• Show seconds: Turn this on or off.

• When the time runs out: Choose Hide the section or Show a message. In the theme editor the section always shows.

• Message: Enter the text to show.

Content#

• Subheading: Enter the text to show.

• Heading: Enter and format a short line of text.

• Text: Enter and format the text.

• Button label: Enter the text to show.

• Link: Choose the page or address to open.

Layout#

• Layout: Choose Image behind the text, Image beside the text, or Strip.

• Image: Choose an image from your library. 2000 x 1000px recommended behind the text, 1200 x 1200px beside it.

• Overlay opacity: Use the slider from 0 to 90 %.

• Text alignment: Choose Start or Center.

• Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

Section padding#

• Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

• Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

Mobile layout#

• Show image: Turn this on or off.

• Mobile image: Choose an image from your library. Replaces the image on phones. 1000 x 1250px recommended.

• Text alignment: Choose Start or Center.

• Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

• Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

Blocks#

This section does not use blocks.

Tips#

• Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
• Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
