Answer common questions in expandable rows.

Select Add section > FAQ on the template you want to edit.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

• Subheading: Enter the text to show.

• Heading: Enter the text to show.

• Text: Enter and format the text.

Finding answers#

• Show topics: Turn this on or off. Shown when questions have two or more topics. Shoppers pick one to narrow the list.

• Open the first question: Turn this on or off.

• Open one question at a time: Turn this on or off.

Help card#

• Heading: Enter the text to show.

• Text: Enter the text to show.

• Button label: Enter the text to show.

• Link: Choose the page or address to open.

Layout#

• Layout: Choose Heading and topics on the side or Heading and topics on top.

• Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

Section padding#

• Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

• Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

Mobile layout#

On phones the topics scroll sideways above the questions.

• Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

• Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

Question#

General settings#

• Question: Enter the text to show.

• Answer: Enter and format the text.

• Topic: Enter the text to show. Questions with the same topic are grouped, such as Shipping or Returns.

Tips#

• Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
• Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
