Featured product#

Add a complete product buying area to another page.

Add this section#

Select Add section > Featured product on the template you want to edit.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

  • Product: Choose a product.
  • Show "View full details" link: Turn this on or off.
  • Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

Media#

  • Layout: Choose Slideshow, Horizontal scroll, or Turntable. Turntable turns the product through its images as shoppers drag across it.
  • Variant images: Choose Show all or Only the selected color.
  • Thumbnails: Choose Numbers or Below.
  • Position: Choose Start or End.
  • Height: Choose Small, Medium, or Large.
  • Image fit: Choose Show whole image or Fill the frame.
  • Video fit: Choose Show whole video or Fill the frame. Show whole video keeps the video's own shape. Fill the frame crops it to fill the gallery, like Fill the frame for images.
  • Image ratio: Choose Adapt to image, Square, Portrait, or Landscape.
  • Zoom: Choose Open full screen, Magnify on hover and full screen, or Off.
  • Media color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.
  • Stage color: Choose Media color scheme, Match each photo, or Same as the page. Match each photo gives the stage the plain background color of the photo on show, so studio photos fill it edge to edge; other photos use the media color scheme. Same as the page drops the separate stage color.

Section padding#

  • Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.
  • Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

Mobile layout#

  • Media: Choose Carousel, Carousel with next item showing, or Turntable.
  • Progress: Choose Numbers, Bar, or Thumbnails. With Turntable, the dial shows where you are; Thumbnails adds a strip under it.
  • Height: Choose Small, Medium, or Large.
  • Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.
  • Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

Blocks#

Theme block#

Add any compatible Esses content or product block. The block's own settings appear when you select it.

App block#

Add a block supplied by an installed app. Its settings come from that app.

Tips#

  • Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
  • Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
