Control the article heading, image, content, sharing tools, and related posts.

Add this section#

Open a Blog post template in the theme editor. This section is already on that template.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

• Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

• Heading color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

Layout#

• Show featured image: Turn this on or off.

• Image width: Choose Full width, Page width, or Text width.

• Text width: Choose Narrow, Medium, Wide, or Full. Full runs the text as wide as a page-width image.

• Show large first letter: Turn this on or off.

• Share and tags: Choose Beside the text, Before the text, or After the text.

Details#

• Show date: Turn this on or off.

• Show author: Turn this on or off.

• Show reading time: Turn this on or off.

• Show tags: Turn this on or off.

• Show share button: Turn this on or off.

• Show reading progress: Turn this on or off. A gauge along the top of the screen fills as the post is read.

• Show newer and older posts: Turn this on or off.

• Show images on newer and older posts: Turn this on or off.

Mobile layout#

• Image ratio: Choose Adapt to image, Landscape, or Square.

On phones the share button and tags sit before or after the text, as chosen above; beside the text they follow it.

Blocks#

This section does not use blocks.

Tips#

• Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
• Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
