Image with text#

Pair an image with a heading, supporting text, and actions.

Add this section#

Select Add section > Image with text on the template you want to edit.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

  • Layout: Choose Curved edge, Text beside the image, Text overlapping the image, or Text on the image. Curved edge: the image ends in a curve with a line drawn along it, the text on the open side. Overlapping: the text on a panel over the lower edge of a wide image.
  • Image: Choose an image from your library. 1500 x 1875px recommended beside the text, 2400 x 1350px with the text on it.
  • Image label: Enter the text to show. A short tag on the picture, such as Studio or On track.
  • Badge: Enter the text to show. A short mark on the curve, such as 01.
  • Second image: Choose an image from your library. You can leave this empty. With Curved edge it sits in a round frame on the curve; otherwise as a card over a corner. 900 x 900px recommended.
  • Second image label: Enter the text to show. Shown under the second image.
  • Second image position: Choose Bottom end, Bottom start, or Top end.
  • Image ratio: Choose Portrait, Square, or Landscape.
  • Image width: Choose Small, Medium, or Large.
  • Image position: Choose Start or End.
  • Height: Choose Small, Medium, Large, or Full screen.
  • Width: Choose Page width or Full width.
  • Content position: Choose Top start, Top center, Top end, Middle start, Middle center, Middle end, Bottom start, Bottom center, or Bottom end.
  • Overlay opacity: Use the slider from 0 to 80 %.

Text#

  • Subheading: Enter the text to show.
  • Heading: Enter and format a short line of text.
  • Heading size: Choose Medium or Large.
  • Text: Enter and format the text.
  • First button label: Enter the text to show.
  • First button link: Choose the page or address to open.
  • Second button label: Enter the text to show.
  • Second button link: Choose the page or address to open.
  • Content style: Choose Plain or On a card.
  • Content position: Choose Top, Middle, or Bottom.
  • Text alignment: Choose Start or Center.
  • Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

Section padding#

  • Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.
  • Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

Mobile layout#

  • Image position: Choose Above the text or Below the text.
  • Image ratio: Choose Same as desktop, Portrait, or Square.
  • Content position: Choose Top, Middle, Bottom, or Below the image. Below the image keeps the whole picture in view.
  • Height: Choose Small, Medium, Large, or Full screen.
  • Text alignment: Choose Start or Center.
  • Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.
  • Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

Tips#

  • Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
  • Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
