Password page#

Introduce the store and collect subscribers before launch.

Add this section#

Open the Password template in the theme editor. This section is already on that template.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

• Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.

• Image: Choose an image from your library. 2400 x 1600px recommended behind the text, 1200 x 1500px beside it.

• Layout: Choose Image behind the text or Image beside the text.

• Overlay opacity: Use the slider from 0 to 90 %.

• Text alignment: Choose Start or Center.

• Heading size: Choose Medium, Large, or Extra large.

• Show start lights: Turn this on or off. Five lights come on one by one, go out as the page opens, then fold away.

• Subheading: Enter the text to show.

• Heading: Enter and format a short line of text.

Edit the message under the heading in Online Store > Preferences > Password protection.

• Opening date: Enter the text to show. Shows a countdown to this date, written as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM, such as 2026-12-01 09:00 (store time zone). Leave empty to hide it.

• Show email signup: Turn this on or off.

• Signup label: Enter the text to show.

• Show social media icons: Turn this on or off. From Theme settings > Social media.

Mobile layout#

• Show image: Turn this on or off.

• Mobile image: Choose an image from your library. Replaces the image on phones. 1200 x 1600px recommended.

• Text alignment: Choose Start or Center.

Blocks#

This section does not use blocks.

Tips#

• Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
• Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
