Product details#

Organize product specifications, care, ratings, and downloads.

Add this section#

Select Add section > Product details on a product template.

Settings#

The settings below follow the same order as the theme editor.

General settings#

  • Product: Choose a product. Leave empty on product pages to use the page's product.
  • Color scheme: Choose a color scheme from Theme settings > Colors.
  • Layout: Choose Tabs or All panels. Tabs show one panel at a time, chosen from a list beside it.

Section padding#

  • Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.
  • Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 160 px.

Mobile layout#

  • Layout: Choose Tabs or All panels. Tabs sit in a row above the panel and scroll sideways.
  • Top padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.
  • Bottom padding: Use the slider from 0 to 120 px.

Specifications#

  • Heading: Enter the text to show.
  • Specifications: Enter and format the text. One per line, as Label: value. Connect a multi-line text metafield to fill it per product.

Ratings#

General settings#

  • Heading: Enter the text to show.
  • Ratings: Enter and format the text. One per line, as Area | Level | Standard, for example Impact | Level 2 | Standard name.

Materials#

General settings#

  • Heading: Enter the text to show.
  • Materials: Enter and format the text. One per line, as Part: material.

Care#

General settings#

  • Heading: Enter the text to show.
  • Care steps: Enter and format the text. One step per line; they are numbered in order.

Downloads#

General settings#

  • Heading: Enter the text to show.
  • Files: Enter and format the text. Add a link per file, for example a manual or a certificate uploaded in Content > Files.

Text#

  • Heading: Enter the text to show.
  • Text: Enter and format the text.

Custom Liquid#

General settings#

  • Liquid code: Add the custom content supplied by your app or developer. Add app snippets or other code.

App block#

Add a block supplied by an installed app. Its settings come from that app.

Tips#

  • Add your real content before fine-tuning spacing and colors.
  • Check the section at both computer and phone widths. Use Mobile layout for the phone-specific choices.
