Bulk setup

Bulk setup in the app menu sets up many products in three steps.

1. Select — choose the products, from the product picker.
2. Review — the app reads each photo’s name and description and groups the photos by color. Check the groups. Products with unclear matches are skipped, so you can set those up by hand.
3. Apply — choose Apply to the number of products ready. Turn on Sync variant images to use each color’s first photo in cart, checkout and orders.

Products that already have a setup are left alone unless you turn on Overwrite existing setup.

Undo a run

Recent runs lists what each run did. Undo puts every product from that run back to how it was. If a product couldn’t be restored, choose Undo again; it’s safe to repeat.

Tip

Bulk setup works best when photo names or descriptions mention the color, like sneaker-navy-1.jpg. Renaming a few photos first can save a lot of hand work.
